Hard times ahead seem a fact for Yoshiki. His right hand has been troubling him and, despite his doctor's recommendation to have surgery, Yoshiki plans to postpone it as far as possible, as surgery means he probably won't be able to play in X Japan's upcoming world tour. Yoshiki plans to depend on acupuncture and other methods to deal with the pain instead, like he has done so in the past. This is a tremendous decision for Yoshiki to make, since according to his doctor, his right hand tendon is half-way torn. Should his tendon tear completely, he will no longer be able to make full use of his hand, most likely ending his career.
Many fans have expressed their concern on the matter, urging Yoshiki to undergo the surgery. However, Yoshiki seems set on playing in X Japan's upcoming world tour.
