12012 - New Limited DVD Release
12012 have announced a new limited edition DVD titled 'Gekien no houkou ~hiai to kyouki to gekijou no hate ni~! However, this will be a made-to-order release, which means that in order to get a copy you'll have to place an order by 3:30pm on April 17. The order form will go live from March 15.
The DVD will feature footage from their one man on 12 December last year at TSUTAYA O-EAST. This spans two discs and a total of around 150 minutes! The names of all the fans who attended the live will be listed in the credits.
In addition, bonus footage will include documentary footage of the first day of the tour in Nagoya, behind the scenes of the Osaka show (which was delayed because of a typhoon) and the countdown to the tour beginning.
Furthermore, the DVD will come with a 60 page colour 12012 SPECIAL BOOK containing personal interviews of what the members got up to on their hiatus, a group photo taken just before the 12 December show, and live photos from both that and their January 31 performance at Umeda CLUB QUATTRO.
As an extra incentive to throw down the amusing 12,012 yen asking price, orders received before March 31 will net a random member cheki and a hand signed message card.

flumpool's new CD to be released in May
flumpool have announced that they will release a new CD titled "FOUR ROOMS" on May 13.
The upcoming release will be a "concept disc" consisting of 4 songs. It will be made with the concept, "The 4 songs will be flumpool's heart, in other words, engine, from now on." They gave it the title "FOUR ROOMS" as it will represent the "4 rooms" that will make up the heart.
In addition to 3 brand new songs they wrote since the beginning of the year, the CD will include "Daisuki datta", which is currently the theme song for Fuji TV's 'Mezamashi TV'. More details will be revealed at a later date.

RAVE - New Mini Album "Yokubarize" + "Day×Bye×day" Full MV
RAVE will be releasing their new mini album titled Yokubarize on March 25th in two editions. The limited edition will include CD+DVD featuring the PV for "Day×Bye×day" while the regular edition will include just the CD.

Royz - New Maxi-Single "THE BEGINNING"
Royz announced that they will be releasing their 11th maxi-single titled THE BEGINNING. The single will be on sale May 6 and it will come in 4 types.
Limited Edition type A will come with a CD with 2 songs and a DVD with the single's PV and making-of. It will cost 1800 yen. Limited Edition type B will have a CD with 2 songs and a DVD containing the single's PV as an all-member multi-angle shot. It will also cost 1800 yen.
Regular Editions type C and D will both come with 1 CD with 6 tracks, with 3 of them as the instrumentals. The third track will be different for each type. They both will cost 1500 yen.
All 4 types will come with 2 trading cards and a flyer of Royz's newest tour, The 47th Beginners.

Kuroyuri to Kage - New Mini-Album "Akesuke Shuuchiroku"
Kuroyuri to Kage (黒百合と影) debuted in 2014 as a new band for the year and they already released their debut full album recently in February. Now, they are back again with another release!
This time, they are going to release their a mini-album called Akesuke Shuuchiroku (アケスケ羞恥録) on July 29 for 2700 yen. It will just contain a CD with 7 songs in total.

Alice Nine Crowdfunding Project (March 1 - 31)
Alice Nine has just recently released a new music video and announced a new album, but even more, in conjunction with their rebirth they also started a new (worldwide) crowdfunding campaign called "A9 Fund Project". Of course, with crowdfunding projects comes rewards as well, help out the band while receiving something awesome back!
The goal of this crowdfunding project is to create great music for the people and not rely on "fans to buy several copies of a same workpiece" or music charts for exposure, which is essentially just a marketing tactic to gain popularity these days, this is especially true in Japan.
"Rewinding the past from the celebration of 10th anniversary of our band, we are questioning today’s formalized pattern of recommending fans to buy several copies of a same workpiece for the ranking on music charts, which goes too far from the essence of being an artist, as it should be delivering good music to the public.
What's the most important thing for bringing good music to people? What's the reason of being indie artist and starting this project? Aren't there any ways to repay those who have always been supporting us? And we get only one answer, "Crowd Funding", from our gropes.
To redefine the relationship of artists and the listeners who support them, we start our new challenge from knowing nothing as our first step to be what we want to be.
Although a small beam of light seems to be dim, but when gathering together it becomes bright light.

ALICE NINE NEW MV "PHOENIX" AND ALBUM ANNOUNCEMENT
The rock band Alice Nine decided to departed from their former record label "PS Company" back in August 2014 to fully adopt themselves into "Univeral Japan". During that time all we have been seeing is a few teasers and many exciting words from the members on (their new) twitter and instagram, that is until today!
Just a few hours ago a new song "Phoenix" was released to the public to celebrate the rebirth (hence the name "Phoenix") of Alice Nine, or now referred to as "A9"! It doesn't just stop there, the band also announced an upcoming mini-album titled "Gingan no
Oto" that will be released somewhere in August.
What's interesting in this new music video is that vocalist Shou wears a mask throughout the entire video, a concept we have not seen before. You would also think that their music style might have changed from all these events that recently occurred? Subjectively judging, I didn't quite sense any difference between the reborned A9 and Alice Nine (obviously they still sound really good!), even though Shou himself said that this was a chance to grow and to go "back to the basics".
Although, what I think he really referred to is most likely how fans interacts with the artist in the modern society, where buying "several copies of a same workpiece for the ranking on music charts" is going too far. That is why the band also announced a new crowdfunding project!
